WEEK ONE THEME: DISTANCE AND CLEANING

As we await actionable and objective data to guide our collective efforts, we intend to act with the belief that it is better to be safe than sorry. To be clear, we have zero known cases in any Coastal Company. This may change and we will keep you well informed of any possible risk that we become aware of.

Coastal’s senior Management Team continues to closely monitor all communications and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Each Monday the we will review lessons learned in our company and in the world during the previous week, then make and communicate plan like we are doing in this note.

This week our plan will focus on “distance and cleaning.” Key elements of the response plan we have put in place include:
• We have stopped all visitors to our facilities including customers and suppliers. Innovate with distance connectivity!
• Our sales team has been notified to postpone all meetings until further notice or hold them virtually.
• All possible employees will work remotely, all those who can not work remotely will work with safe distances.
• Focus on cleaning in all common areas from services and team members. Team members will be asked to assist in very specific ways—see your team leader for details.
• Business travel both internationally and domestically is stopped.
